Our 8th grade class led Mass this morning. Fr. Tom noted that the Greek word for thanksgiving is Eucharist, and as we move into Thanksgiving week and the Christmas season we should be thankful not only for the gifts we receive, but those who give them - including our Lord Jesus.

Miss Reeves' sixth grade science students explored a portion of the evidence in support of the Big Bang Theory by using a balloon and measuring distances from set points as they inflated it. This lab is part of their study on scientific theories about the origin of the universe and reinforcing the need for evidential support when claims are made.
